Puako Sunset, Big Island, Hawaii
One of the many sunsets we enjoyed during our honeymoon on the Big Island. I learnt that flip flops are the worst things to wear whilst scrabbling over sharp lava rocks. Ouch! It's all worth it for the shot, isn't it? Canon 5DMK3 + 16-35mm f/2.8 + Circular Polarizer, 1.0s at f/14, ISO 100. Tripod: Really Right Stuff TVC-23 + BH-55 Pro, Remote Canon TC-80N3.
Seascapes seem to be my theme this month :) I'm starting to know the tidal schedules by heart now. I was blessed with warm weather today and a purple & pink sky. 12C which is extremely mild for the frozen North. The sea was so calm, hardly any movement. I've been waiting for a more stormy day to capture more crashing waves.
